The house is next to the 'Village House (1)', with the same owner and shares the large lawn area at the rear of the two properties. The ground floor has been completely restored and beautifully decorated. It makes a nice self catering apartment, sleeps five, ideal for a small family or could be used together with Village House 1 for larger parties. Particularly well placed for walking and cycling holidays but is only a 15 minute drive to the attractive towns of Amandola and Sarnano.
Garulla is a small mountain village nestling in the hillside of Monte Castèl Manardo (1917m.) in the Monti Sibillini National Park. (Map) The Sibillini Mountains form a particular scenic area of the Apennine range, becoming increasingly popular with tourists but remaining completely unspoiled. The photo of the village is taken looking eastward towards the Adriatic sea which forms the horizon on clear days. The village has a small, extremely friendly population. There are no shops in the village but the towns of Amandola and Sarnano with supermarkets, shops, bars etc. are within a short drive.
The apartment is made up as follows:
Kitchen/dining/living room. Beamed ceiling, fitted kitchen with gas hob. Table seating for 6. Includes large wood fired oven (seen clearly in the picture on the right)- makes perfect pizzas at 400°C.
Bathroom with wash basin, toilet, bidet and shower.
Main Bedroom King size (matrimonial) double bed.
Second Bedroom bunk beds.
In kitchen/dining area there is a divan which converts to a three quarter size bed.
